    Castrol 5W40 - 4100 miles - Audi S4 2.7T 50K miles

This is the first time I've ever done an oil analysis, please trasnlate for me what this report really means? The car went through 4 track sessions which I think may have affected the oil a bit. There's one mistake, I added about 1-1.5 litres oil during the oil interval and NOT 7qrt.

Time for an oil change, what other additive is recommended for a turbo engine?

Thanks Titanium, So the verdict is that a good oil is all I need, right? I actually started a thread about that too here: http://theoildrop.server101.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=005648 I try to see what fuel additive I can get.

I have a 2001 GTI 1.8T with 40K miles. I am going to do an oil change soon and wanna know if any other additive is recommended to do at this milage for a turbo engine? Please help me choose a good 5w40 oil for a 1.8T engine?

BTW, I also found another difference between the two: Motul is rated B4 ... but LubroMoly is B3-98?! So, does this mean Motul protects better then?

Please help me choose a good 5w40 oil for a 1.8T engine?

Thanks for all the replies. My problem is availability. I can find Castrol 5W40 German at around 65 CND$, Mobil-1 only comes in 5W30 here, and Redline is way too expensive. Therefore, I asked about the two I mentioned, Motul and Lubro Moly. They both come in 5W40, both have VW 502, 505...

Please help me choose a good 5w40 oil for a 1.8T engine?

Hi, I have a 2001 GTI 1.8T and have to do the oil change. The manual states 5w40 and I use synthetic usually. Now, should I use Motul 8100 Xcess 5W40, or get Lubro Moly 5W40 Voll-Synthese instead? Which one does a better job in a turbo engine? They both cost pretty much the same for me...
