    The Romantic side of shooting

For me its the elegant design and craftsmanship of prewar guns in general. Perhaps not the lower end stuff like Iver Johnson wheelguns, but things like a C96 Mauser, a Mauser 98, P08 Luger, S&W Triple Lock, Browning Auto 5, etc. Back when we had variety in design and guns were more built than...

    Number of round between cleaning

I clean my guns after every use. However, way back in the day there was a guy on the gun forums that shot something like 13k through a DSA built FAL with no real cleanings other than hosing out the action with CLP and throwing the gun in puddles. When he finally did try to clean it, the gas...

    Choice of .357 SIG Ammo

UMC is really just range ammo quality. It is the bottom barrel stuff in the Remington family. I would not trust my life to it always going off or expanding. That being said it will test your gun to see if it hates JHP's in general.

    NRA Scams

After the way Chris Cox and Wayne LaPierre screwed the pooch after the Vegas tragedy combined with a board full of sunshine patriots and fudds (Marion Hammer), they won't be getting my money. Get people like Adam Krautt (mispelled to keep from getting censored) on the board of directors and...
