If Pennzoil 5W-30 standard (yellow bottle) is rated at group II+ and pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 is rated at group III. What would the differance be be in engine wear? I presently have a 2007 Hyundai Azera with the 3.8L and a Hyundai Santa Fe with a 3.3L engine. Thanks for all responses. Westex

Does anyone on this forum use Chevron Supreme Synthetic? If so , what is your opinion of it? From what I've read here it is cheaper than other synthetics. I assume it is a Group III based synthetic. Any replies are greatly appreciated. westex

I've been reading about high iron readings in overhead cam engines when using Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 EP. It also looks like the iron levels are lower when using a conventional oil such as Chevron & Havoline. Does anyone know what is going on with this? westex
