    Oil for denver

I agree with the above, If your accord is a manual you may want to change the fluid to a synthetic, the cold mornings can make it hard to shift.

GC 4700 Miles 2004 WRX STI

The car probably has 200 passes on it, and the clutch is holding up like a champ. This is my second WRX, and I have never had ANY mechanical problems...They have both been bullet proof for me. SORRY, It is the GOLD MO502, I still have a good stock of green, but i wanted to compare.

GC 4700 Miles 2004 WRX STI

No additives, this oil has been good to me, I won an NHRA Sport Compact National event with this oil. We shall see if the gold is as good as green.

GC 4700 Miles 2004 WRX STI

The previous three OCI's are Redline 5W30. I switched to M02 GC for this last interval. This oil has 45 1/4 mile drag passes on it too. M05 GC is in for the current OCI.

    2004 Impreza WRX STI 4300 Miles Redline 5w30 W/LC & FP

I think the lead is the gas station I use. It was high in my TSX as well.

    2004 Impreza WRX STI 4300 Miles Redline 5w30 W/LC & FP

I don't think the LC thinned out this oil to much during this interval.

    2004 Acura TSX 2.4L I-VTEC GC 7000 Miles w/LC & FP

I don't think the High lead is due to NOT leaving in the break-in Oil. I have two UOA's, Two Different Cars, Two different Oils both with high lead. The only common bond is my local gas station. I have since switched and will see what happens on the next UOA. The previous oil was Mobil 1 5W30.

    2004 Impreza WRX STI 4300 Miles Redline 5w30 W/LC & FP

Lead seems to be high in this UOA. LC was 8oz at beginning and 1 oz every 1k. FP was also added at the recommended dosages.

    2004 Acura TSX 2.4L I-VTEC GC 7000 Miles w/LC & FP

The lead seems to be high. It is also high in my WRX STi UOA. I wonder if it could be the gas station? GC added at the recommend intervals. FP was added at recommended dosages Previous UOA was Mobil 1 5w30 [ November 12, 2004, 06:40 PM: Message edited by: 2004_STI ]

    New Subaru Legacy Turbo

On my 2004 Impreza STI, I changed the Oil at 1000 miles to synthetic. Basically the same engine. For the legacy I would change at 1000 Miles, with a good Dino, then go to synthetic at 3000 Miles.

I don't recall seeing anything in the literature about titanium connecting rods. You might be thinking of the NSX? [ June 04, 2004, 03:57 PM: Message edited by: 2004_STI ]

I believe the Compression is higher 11:1. The head is also different on the TSX. Same block though.
