I've run Mobil 1 and EP 10W-30 and 5W-30 in my Toyota V6 pickups and V8 4Runner for many years here in Colorado, hot summers and very cold winters in the mountains... with no problems. Alabama winters would be a breeze for these oils.

I ditched the Syn 3 and went to Redline in all three holes of the RKC. Great oil!

In my thirty year old Toro, that's leaking a little oil, I run the Wal Mart 10W-30 Synthetic. And in the five year old Honda OHV, I also run the 10W-30 Wal Mart Synthetic. In both engines, the inexpensive Wal Mart 10W-30 synthetic does the job very well. Save money and no complaints.

I run Mobil EP in my 4Runner V8 and after warranty and extended warranty passed, change the oil 1X a year. No problems. Excellent oil!

The 650 Suzuki V-Twin engine appears to be very easy on oil from all the posts that I've read over on the Adventure Rider and Stromtrooper Forums. Many like that bike there, especially the engine. The Rotella T 15W-40 is an excellent choice.
