Walmart now stocks Valvoline Syn Power 5W40 Euro Blend. Just thought I'd pass this on.

Went to Pep Boys to pickup some filters for the vehicles.....and the Pure One for the VW is still the old disco blue, not the grippy yellow type. Is this just this Pep Boys going through old stock or has Purolator not changed all the filters over to the new coating?

Any reasons other than snooty VW oil specs that would keep me from running this in my 2004 2.0 VW Jetta? How about the 5W30 version if the 10W40 is too "thick" per se?

Never used it. Tell me the good, bad or ugly about this stuff. I know Lucas makes respectable products, but I just want some info from the "field" before I make a purchase. If I were to buy it, it would go into my Jeep 4.0 to help quiet down some noisy lifters. lol
