The 5 Purolator Pure One 14670's I cut open had metal end caps, but the filter pleats were not installed in a uniform pattern. I now use a K&N 3001 for my Dodge 3.3 V6.

I was not impressed with the Pure One PL30001. The filter media is not uniform, there were large gaps between the pleats where it is connected. This was from cutting open 5 of them.

Hey! I just got this reply back from Interstate: Norm Miller, our Chairman, holds the majority interest in Interstate Batteries and it is a privately held company. Johnson Controls is our primary supplier and they do have a smaller percentage interest in our company. Hope this is helpful...

I like Interstate batteries.

I like Interstate Mega-Tron's. When I worked at Advance Auto,the batteries were made by Johnson Controls (2002-03).

Hey, Patman are you using a Fram Sure Drain on the Firebird?

Ok, I haven't got one yet , but it was a SRM-260S, not 210. I hope to get one this fri or sat -if my purchase request gets approved by the finance dept. (wife).

Today I looked at Ace Hardware at an Echo SRM-210S. They have an on site factory trained tech. Any experiences w/ AH ?

I looked at the Stihl FS 55 and 85. They are nice but the line housing was hard for my wife to take apart. Do they make one of those housings that the short lines push into for the Stihl?

I need to buy a new weedeater/grass trimmer. I would like to buy an Echo, but the one I want is $269 at Home Depot(biggest motor). Are they worth it? I will use it to trim around the house and a 80 yd long and 5 yd wide ditch. I seen a Toro at HD, are these good? Thanks.
