It will be a cold day before someone else changes the oil on one of my vehicles!

    Mazda 0w20 moly availability

What the guy at the parts counter said was that it was no longer available - I asked if I could just order some. He said they only had it in bulk and that the only oil they sold in quarts was 5w20. Although this explanation seems strange, particularly because I would assume that all of their new...

    Mazda 0w20 moly availability

Went down to the dealer yesterday and was informed that this oil is no longer being sold. Am I the first to notice this? I have not been reading too much about this recently and was surprised to find out as I thought it was relatively popular on the forums here a few years ago.

    Griot's garage exceptional service!

About 20 years ago we bought some nice full coverage floor mats for the 1993 Chevy truck. They had clips that attached to the floor of the truck to hold in place. About 8 years ago one of the clips broke (12 years old). Called them up with not more than a vague description of what the clips...

    Welcome Back Ford Ranger

Interesting. Too much body bulk for the wheels in my opinion.

    2016 Mazda MX-5

Hi guys, wanted to show our new 2016 Miata off. We've had it for about a week and half now and are really enjoying it. It is a Ceramic Metallic Club with Brembo/BBS package, manual transmission. It is the most fun to drive car we have had yet. Only one road trip so far, but on those 224 miles...

    Auger belt on Ariens snowblower

Also make sure the pulleys are properly aligned. I've had to adjust the bracket for the tensioner pulley to get it in line so that the belt doesn't want to skip off. Usually an adjustable wrench is good enough to tweak the bracket.

    Difficult to start car

Well, everyone picked the same thing I had in mind. Replaced IACV (not worth wasting the time trying to clean it out) and works great. Interestingly the original one did not look dirty at all. Thank you for the quick responses everyone!

    Difficult to start car

We had the Passlock/Theftlock thing happen once. That will just let the car crank forever, but it's also accompanied by the idiot light on the dashboard.

    2015 Subaru CVT transmission

I know Subaru has a specific method for drain/filling the CVT because the volume of fluid changes with temperature (apparently significantly enough to warrant this process). I loathe bringing a car to a dealer for service but since the documentation on the internet for doing this yourself and...

    Difficult to start car

Hi all, Our 2002 Malibu has developed an annoying habit the past few weeks - hard starting. It cranks fine, catches, but then immediately stalls: sometimes. Sometimes it never really catches, or partially catches. Today I got out the spark tester and fuel pressure gauge. Fuel pressure was...

best weatherseal lubricant protectant for GM car

We've sprayed silicone spray on our seals two to three times per year on our 1982 BMW and 1993 Chevy and the seals are still supple and black. No complaints here with that method.

Stihl backpack blower lost about 1/2 it's power.

I know this is simple so chances are it was obvious enough to check - but did you make sure the intake for the blower impeller itself was clear?
