    Clementines- they're Heeere!

Yowza. When my wifey was pregnant with our first one, she craved these things like nobody's business. We must have gone through 50lbs of those things. Good grief.

    MMO on long highway trip?

That ole Buick probably never got to stretch its legs with the previous owner. That's why, if it were me, I would run some PP with MMO and do a few Italian tune-ups to clean out the oil control rings.

    Dex/Merc III Mixed with Dex/Merc V mixed with ????

    DexIII/Merc has a very different lockup/torque charactoristic than ATF+4, ATF+3, according to LubeGard: http://www.lubegard.com/images/MV_Legend_Expanded.jpg http://www.lubegard.com/images/HFM_Legend_Expanded.gif

    Dex/Merc III Mixed with Dex/Merc V mixed with ????

What year Cherokee? Plenty of folks use Dex/Merc, or even ATF+4 (back-spec'd by Chrysler). Which leads me to think that it would be hard to really mess it up. I would be tempted to use a Multi-Vehicle that meets Dex VI, or ATF+4.

Habanero salsa turned out tasty & super hot

I made the salsa a few months ago after harvesting the last of my habaneros, sarranos, and tomatoes out of the garden. At a recent Christmas gathering I decided to get it out and try it (was canned). WOW!! Good flavor, and surprisingly SMOOTH heat! The salsa ended up having, in order of...

If you are married, you should ask your wife what to get for the female, maybe even have her go purchase and wrap it!

    Female Owned?

"Female Owned" in an ad is a huge red flag because the aforementioned female believes that somehow, by virtue of the gender of the driver, the car is in superior condition. Dare I, a Neanderthalic male hominid, question such beliefs? Happily, this type of flagrant disregard for rational...

OK to pour used motor oil in my fuel tank?

Wha the hoopti-too???!! Why all the fear-mongering?! Welcome to BITOG, land of girlimen! (JK) Won't particulate (if any) simply blow out the tailpipe? I don't think SSO is a high-phosphorous/high-sulphur oil. (EDIT: of course it ain't, it meets GF-4 and SM) This ole Buick consumed...

OK to pour used motor oil in my fuel tank?

I figure if I can get away with it without shortening the life of the car, I'll be ahead by 1. Disposing of used oil in a convenient way 2. More miles for my fuel dollar 3. Slightly better power 4. Offset effects of E10 in my ol' Buick Assume that A. The oil is not totally chemically spent...
