So the oil sheared down from 16.8 to 15.1 Is this normal for Redline? I figure 483 race miles is probably further than I should go on an oil change. -David

Installed new engine, as the oil pressure problem was probably in the oil pump itself. I had a spare new motor, so decided it would be best to install that engine. This is the 1st analysis on new engine New oil analysis: World Challenge spec SRT-4: OIL - Redline racing 50W - (15W/50) Total...

    05 Dodge Cummins 5.9L - Blackstone Report

We purchased the truck with about 153,000 miles and this was the 2nd oil change we have performed. We have used Delo oil for both changes, plan to sample again at the next oil change.

Yeah, the truck is worked fairly hard, towing 15K often, but otherwise, not really sure why the iron would be high. We own 4 of these trucks and service them all the same, I am planning to get oil samples for the other 3 on the next change. The only thing we have noticed is this truck seems to...

I agree with you, the newer SM spec Mobil 1 is probably not capable of handling the shear in a 500 hp SRT-4 motor under racing conditions. Yeah the Mobil 1 is what we run in my sisters Caravan but probably had no business in the SRT-4. Hopefully the next analysis will improve with the Redline...

    2004 dodge neon rear shocks

Have you tried tightening the nut in the center of the black cup. This is the nut that tightens the strut to the black cup. Most likely you will need an impact wrench to tighten this nut as the strut shaft will try to spin otherwise, I have used a pair of vise grips and a few shop towels to...
