    Land Rover spec. STJLR.51.5122/WSS-M12R536-A

I asked the service department at a Jag/Land Rover dealer in LA. They said that the 0W-20 spec oil for new Jags and Land Rovers are not sold OTC and do not come in quarts. They were happy to sell me an oil filter for 58 bucks though. Sigh

    Land Rover spec. STJLR.51.5122/WSS-M12R536-A

925A is a 5W-20 spec that is a legacy ford spec. Ford no longer use it but Jaguar do, hence they have now come up with their own specification '5006' '5122' is the 0W-20 spec as mentioned earlier. This has fuel economy requirements much higher than the 5W-20 The 2015 Range Rover has Auto...

Thank you. However, my owners manual does not look like this. It specifies SAE 0W-20 engine oil meeting Jaguar Land Rover specification STJLR.51.5122/WSS-M12R536-A for both engines in the USA.

I have a 2015 Range Rover with a Supercharged 3.0L V6. My apologies if this has been covered but I can't seem to find it on the forums. Where in the USA can you buy Range Rover motor oil with the current specs, that isn't the dealership? Is there a Castrol, Pennzoil or Mobil equivalent? SAE...

    battery charger deal?

no matter how good charger is, if the battery is no good, then then it's not gonna hold a charge. Costco sells the battery tender. If it works keep it. If it doesn't return it anytime, that simple. Most retailers don't have much of a return policy if you open the product, use it and try and...

who is all running the new Castrol 0w40?

Just put it in a 335i with the N55, single turbo engine that is being used across the current BMW line-up. It seems to work fine, can't say I feel any difference from the OEM Castrol 5W-30 that was in the car before. Which might be a good thing.

    OIl for Kia/Hyundai 2.0T Direct-Injection

Unless you regularly tow something, or drive in an extremely dusty area, or take the car to a track, odds are your behavior is considered normal. I'd do 5k and then get the oil analyzed to see if you can go longer which in all likelihood you can.

    OIl for Kia/Hyundai 2.0T Direct-Injection

Considering the Santa Fe is calling for conventional OCI':(2.0 TGDI) At first, replace at 3,000 miles (5,000 km) or 6 months, after that, every 5,000 miles (8,000 km) or 6 months. You can probably run the synthetic longer and not worry about it.

    FAQ - GC ( German Castrol )

Agree that owners manuals, specs, and websites often give conflicting information. Often times it's country or continent specific and getting your arms around what is used in Montana versus Malaysia is not an easy task. If you are going to subscribe to BMW's OCI's of 2 years or 15k miles, then...
