Initial fills with ester based oils are common. This might continue until your third fill. I have had high consuption with Redline. Give it time and then make an evaluation.

I use their brake fluid.

I would dump this oil. Your TBN is 2.4. Why gamble on it making it to 15,000 miles. Also, have you changed your air filter yet?

Patman, How many times have you run GC in your car? I've always believed that it takes at least three oil changes to show what an oil can really do. This UOA is outstanding. Why mess with perfection and try Pennzoil Platinum?

This is a truly great oil. I don't know why it is not recommended more often. It cost the same as the S2000 but I believe it has a higher ester content. This oil ranks with Redline and GC as one to the best. Any oil will thicken around 10,000 miles.

I orders a case of Amsoil ASM for my sister's car yesterday and it arrived today!! I think that Gary Allan brews this stuff in his backyard and sends it out via air express.

The ASM is a Group IV. The jury is still out on M1. Also, the ASM is a better value since it can be run for longer drain intervals.

Its too bad that this stuff is not available in small quantities. You have to purchase it by the case ($100+). I know about Schaeffer's outdated marketing model.

It only took two days for the air filter to arrive. Man what service. Gary may be new but he performs like an old pro. I think that this will be an excellent replacement for the Donaldson paper filter that has been discontinued.
