I've got a '98 mitsu eclipse gsx and I cannot get the axles out of the hubs, which I need to change. A mechanic suggested Oxy/acetylene, which doesn't sound great to me. Any ideas on how to break these apart?

Sorry, tranny fluid is supposedly similar to atf. The diff is open.

I picked up a 2000 323ci with a manual transmission, and according to BMW the tranny and diff are filled with lifetime fluid I've got some royal purple 75-90 and synchromax for the tranny. Good choices??? I thought I would double check here.

Go with the Bimmer. I just picked up an '00 323ci. What a fantastic machine. It doesn't have tremendous power, but it the delivery is silky smooth, and the integrated feeling of the chassis is tremendous.

I've used NXT for awhile now with much better durability than Gold Class. The GC didn't last long at all.

Used to have a '82 911 Targa. No power steering-unbelievable car to drive. Just point and shoot. It wasn't overpowering, but it had enough ommph. Unbelievable brakes for a car of that time. I miss it. I didn't like the targa roof however.

Well, I'm a Pu$$y. I started doing the lower manifold gasket on my woman's Malibu, and I quit once I got the injector rail off. NOw, I've noticed that the thing uses some coolant. What should I do? Try it again? or, should I take it to a professional. Who has done this job?
