Ran across some old data I had on Mobil 1 as published by the Mobil Corp.
Mobil 1 SE/CC (Circa 1979)
85% PAO and 15% POE
Grade: 5w20
Pour Point: -85°F/-65°C
Flash Point: 460°F/238°C
Viscosity at 0°F: 1100 cP
Viscosity at 210°F: 7.5 cSt
Enjoy.
Is it me, or does it seem completely idiotic that these tags are required to be placed in the center of the windshield, below the rear view mirror, creating yet another potential blindspot in the drivers critical field of view?
Ran across the owner's manual for the 1971 Corvette I owned many, many moons ago. Thought a few here would be interested in what the factory recommended back then.

Some quick pictures of a Purolator Premium Plus used for +4 Years/+40K Miles on a Chevy Gen I 350. Sorry for the ________ pictures, I'm short for time. I may redo them in the next couple of days.
Nice 5w20 at 8.5 cSt.
I'm surprised the insolubles are so high at 800 miles. Could be the filter spent a lot of time in bypass given the way it was run for this period.
...their cabin filter replacement procedure even more involved than it is. I'm dissappointed everytime I have to take only half the dash apart to replace them.
A friend just acquired a relatively low mileage 1992 Honda Civic with an automatic, but it didn't include an owner's manual. Anybody know what kind of tranny fluid is spec'd for it?
I don't know if this was posted before, but here's some info that may interest some people.

A look at some theoretical physics explanations that might support the recent revolutionary announcement of a free energy device by the Irish company Steorn, who claim to have an all-magnet motor...
Anyone have the specs for the line new Amsoil Ea oil filters that includes the outer dimensions, gasket sizes, bypass psi settings, etc?
I have the SDF specs but Amsoil now list several replacements for one of the previous SDF model#.
