    Dyno Tricks

Is Redline 5w40 available in Canada. I was going to use the 5w20 just for the dyno. I'd take it out right after the dyno. The same with the tranny fluid. What about high octane race fuel? [ March 11, 2003, 08:32 PM: Message edited by: 2Kompressed ]

    Dyno Tricks

I have a manual VW GTI and use Mobil1 0w40 in the engine and the OEM VW synthetic tranny fluid 75w90. Can changing these fluid give me better dyno results. Such as using a 0w20 in the engine.

    Where to find M1 0w-40?

In Ottawa Canada, I can get Mobil1 0w30 or 0w40 at: Esso Warehouse (Imperial Oil Canada) 1961 Merivale Road Ottawa (Nepean) (613)723-2533 You must buy a case of 6 (1 litre bottles). I think I paid $6.25cdn/litre ($37.50cdn/case). In Toronto, I'd check with Imperial Oil Canada (Esso).
