    I would suggest you run a Euro 0w30, like Castrol or such, and good gas, like 91E0, if you don’t already, and compare results.

    I drove a Hyundai 1.6L for 100,000 mi. Used 5w20, 0w30, 5w30, and 10w30. It ran the best with M1 HM 10w30.

    Fuel diluter - gas smell after 400 miles on oil

    When my oil level rose to 1/2 quart over full, and reeked of gas, I didn't need a lab to know I had fuel in the sump. Just didn't know how much %....but knew it was too much. Oil change and 91 E0 gas fixed it for me. YMMV
