    Feedback on Lucas 5w20?

So if this has any clinical significance to me, then I should be experiencing 40% oil loss and massive volitility deposits. This has not happened. Amsoil tests have shown Mobil 1 ext perf to have the highest wear in a four ball test only to show it a close second to Amsoil product in another...

    Feedback on Lucas 5w20?

Which is what? What are you expecting the product to do for you? Its alot like medicine and pharmacology. A study may show a drug superior in terms of statistical significance, but in an actual clinical setting there is no difference. Not here to promote anything, just to help break up the group...

Street. I run it in the Summer months when I do most of my towing.

    Feedback on Lucas 5w20?

Brilliant responses... Lucas is their own worst enemy in a sense. I used to view the product line as band-aid additives for clunkers. I was turned on to their stuff through drag racing where I have over 100K in the car and over 40K in the motor. Ran Ow-20 pro stock oil in an application turning...

    Lucas Slick Mist

Very impressed with this stuff. Used on a black truck in the sun. Not a smear or streak to be found. Nice cinnimon smell to boot.

Give Fram credit where credit is due

Fram may be the only filter that I have yet to feel a bur or a metal shaving on the threads. Very big deal to me. Looked at an ecore at WM today. Ran my index finger across the threads and was rewarded with a metal splinter. I have found this alot with Wix/Napa filters with significant...

Lucas Synthetic: I put my money where my mouth is!

Hit 2000 miles on the Lucas fill today. Peliminary results show a .6 gain in fuel milage with a mix of city, highway, and towing. Weather has been in the mid 80s. Oh, and none has vanished per the dipstick. So far so good.

    Lightest or Qualifying Race Oils

Quaker State Q has a 5w you can get from Jegs. Lucas has a pro stock oil in 0w-5, 0w-10, and 0w-20

Lucas Synthetic: I put my money where my mouth is!

After a bit of sparring in the racing forum regarding Lucas oil products, I decided to take it a step futher. I just drained my Amsoil HDD 5W-30 from my 2008 2500HD with the 6.0 gas engine and filled it with Lucas 10W-30 Synthetic. I also drained the severe gear and installed Lucas 75W-90...
