Oil Recs for 1986 Jeep CJ7

This has the 4.2 6 cyl 258. Manual says 10/30 or 10/40. Use will be around town, some highway. Any preference on the weight of oil? Engine has 69K on it.

    Delo 400 CI4+

I'll throw this one out, since Delo400 15/40 is not rated for most mc wet clutches, what does that do to the engine or wet clutches?? Just curious for your thoughts.

    2006 6.0L concern area? Blackstone

Is a 7 for Aluminum a real concern? That number was at 23K. The previous numbers were 4 at 17.5K, and 4 at 12.2K. Universal average is 3. I have used 15/40 Delo400 after the initial Motorcraft oil. Thanks, Pat

Supertech full synthetic 75/140 from Walmart

Ford, in Bellevue (WA), quoted me $24 per quart at the service counter. $96, plus the friction modifier is hard to take. Will probably return the ST stuff to Walmart and buy Amsoil Severe Duty for $15 a quart on-line. Thanks for the replies. Pat
