    Fluid Film or RP 342

Another option is chainsaw bar oil. It's tenacious & sticks like glue.

    Castrol Actevo 10W-40 M/C Oil

Reporting back on the 20w/50 Actevo, no oil analysis, but shifting not notchy & clutch has smooth release. Subjective observation, passes the muster.

    Natural Gas from Ohio Valley

The frac wells in this are anywhere from 5000' to 9000' below the surface. The few issues were due to casing issues, not drilling or fracking that I'm aware of. The average water wells are 200' below surface, occasional 500' max depth. The majority of people who live in these drilling ares are...

To be Honest, Thinking of Selling Motorcycle and Quitting Riding

Maybe take a break, still keeping the bike if you like it. See how you feel after 6 months or a season. If you feel the same, time to sell. It's scary to ride once confidence or a healthy respect and alertness are missing.

Factory Delco battery same as Retail replacements?

Curious if the retail replacement Delco battery is the same as the factory supplied unit? Worked for a Deere dealer, the factory supplied strong box (originally supplied in new units) was available to customers, and was a heavy duty unit, but cost more. Also, it was shipped dry without acid and...

How old is this ACDelco battery?

I just replaced the factory Delco battery in my 2011 Silverado in November 2018. Used a Battery Tender trickle charger when truck would sit for longer than a week. Replaced it because it started to loose the capacity to sit for longer than 7days. Replacement battery from Advance Auto isn't half...

    Shell accident

So sorry to hear that news, condolences to all affected. I've worked in the industry for 10 years and can state that Shell will find the accident root cause and implement corrective action. Of all the rigs I've worked, Shell has consistently upheld rigorous safety standards.

2010 Lincoln MKZ AWD 20mo/21K Mile Review

Bringing up an old thread, nice looking car to OP. My review of my MKS EcoBoost AWD. Enjoy the car save for two glaring anoyances. The MicroSoft control center is confusing and not intuitive. And like most MS products, it will hang up, stuck while it tries to resolve an error. Worst feature is...

    Cookware set made in NA?

Allclad is made in a factory 20 min from Pittsburgh PA. IMHO, it's worth the money, disperses the heat evenly across the bottom surface (no hot/cold spots) & requires lower heat to cook, heats quickly. HD hardware as well.

Brother inlaw has an early onc, purchased late summer 2000. It has the 3.0 V6 4-spd auto, 2wd package, with 186,000 miles. Outside of normal maint (incl transmission flushes every 40k & coolant changes), he's only had a couple issues with the coil packs. Mileage up until 1 yr ago was 24-26 hwy.

Stock Steel Vs Stock Aluminum Wheels

My $0.02, I prefer steel given truck & van applications. Main reason, corrosion in the bead seating area & potholes. I've had OEM wheels that experienced a slow leak due to bead area corrosion. As well, it's cheaper to repair or replace a pothole damaged steel rim. Performance application...

    Overheating Durango, I give up!

If the spark plugs are easily accessed, I'd try a compression test on each cylinder. A leak should reveal itself with a low PSI cylinder. An autoparts store might have the compression tester for free rental.
