    Purolator Classic L14006 Cut Open

I wouldn't say it's conclusive there's tear(s) in the media. I was messing around with the pleats and looking for tears before I took pictures. I just went out and spread the pleats apart and just tore 3 or 4 more.... Sorry guys. I have no idea if the tear was actually there, or if I tore the...

    Purolator Classic L14006 Cut Open

First time cutting open an oil filter. The can condition is due to the c-clamp I used. 2004 Yukon Denali with the 6.0L. I don't even track mileage on this truck anymore. When the OLM gets down to about 15%, and I have an hour of free time, I change the oil. In this particular case, the OLM was...

    Garage workbench

I'm thinking about building the heavy duty workbench using the plans from Simpson. 2x4's, screws, some simpson hardware you can get at Home Depot and some 3/4 inch plywood. Looks simple, inexpensive, strong, and you can change the plans very easily to build any size bench you want. Simpson...

Trop Arctic - Just as good as most?

Ok, so I just knew that it would be gone if I waited until tomorrow. So I went back and cleaned out the stash of another 22 quarts for a total of 41 or so. I guess I'm set for a while.... I've got quite a stash going with Rotella (bikes), Delo (bikes), Brad Penn (bikes), Pennzoil YB, some Napa...

Trop Arctic - Just as good as most?

I just grabbed about 20 quarts of this stuff from Walmart which has the 10-30 and 10-40 on closeout at $1.00 a quart. It's the synthetic blend. Is this stuff just as good as the normal dino stuff out there like Pennzoil yb, mobil 5000, valvoline premium etc etc... If so, I think I'll go back and...
