    This tire any good still?

HAHAHAHAHAHA @ rshunter. IMO, your family's safety is not worth riding on the tire any longer. Replace it!

    BFG Advantage T/A

Thanks STS. I did have the Traction TAs on my list but a few reported them as noisy and they just look noisy to me. So we went with the Advantage over the Traction.

    BFG Advantage T/A

We tried the TRZs. There was a humming at highway speed that I was not comfortable with and had attributed to the tires since it was not there when I brought it in with the old OEM tires. Yokohama has a great return policy. I used it for a full refund (including mount and balance!). After some...

I'm planning on trying the CS4s when the OEMs on my Mazda6 wear out next year.

Thanks sayjac, I've reviewed them many times. I'm probably going with the Yoko TRZs but was interested in Audi Junkies opinion since he seemed luke warm on the TRZs.

Thanks finklejag, I'll check out the Coopers. yeah, there aren't many reviews on the TouringS but I'm thinking they are an evolution of the Touring, which has many good reviews. Just read this thread. . What's the difference between directional and asymmetrical? I thought they were the same...

I'm looking for an a/s replacement for our 2005 Altima's oem Continental Touring Contact A/S (215-60-16). They only lasted 34k miles in 4 years and my wife is not an aggressive driver. Maybe it has to do with tire age. I own a Mazda6 and am spirited at times. We're looking for an all around good...

    BFG Advantage T/A

mpvue, I know what you mean. I think they are mainstream but sometimes you are more comfortable with what you know, and it's her car. We'll see if I can convince her because I've read both the Touring S and the TRZ are great tires...hardly any bad reviews (aside from the limited cracking issue)...

    BFG Advantage T/A

Hello all, I'm new to this forum. I'm looking for an a/s replacement for our 2005 Altima's oem Continental Touring Contact A/S (only 34k miles on them!). I'm looking for an all around good tire for northeast winters (snow/wet traction) with low noise, not too stiff and decent wear (~50-60k). I...
