Can I use Kreen in a motorcycle with a wet clutch? I bought a bike that's been sitting for a while and I was thinking to run this through the oil before changing. And the fuel too (after draining what's in there).

Kreen is too tough/expensive to try and get in Canada. I'm going to try some MMO in the crankcase and gas tank to see if it helps.

I can't find M1 HM in Canada, however we have M1 Super 2000. Are these very different products?

Is there an easier option than the process involved for Auto-Rx? Is there a cleaner I can just add to my gas tank or something that will provide similar/better results? I've been burning oil on my higher mileage Murano recently. I'm going to change the PVC and switch to a high mileage oil, but...

Good point. If Acura can recommend using the same cheap filter for every 2 changes with dino oil, I'm sure I should be fine with Amsoil ASL, an (oversize) Fram X2 and magnetic drain plug. The PDF posted in this was also very informative. I think I will get a UOA done between my next change. [...

I wonder why more companies other than Amsoil and FRAM (X2) don't market an extended drain oil filter?

Price aside I think Amsoil might be a bit better for "extended" drains. If you just plan to use Amsoil for about 10k, you could use 1 extended drain filter and have good results.

Since these engines don't need to last 10 years it might not be a big consideration. If anything this oil will thicken after use and their is not a direct correlation between oil weight and it's ability to protect. Having said this, I'm so unimpressed with these M1R specs and my current burn...

Just checked my oil... down about 2L (in 5k). My car eats this M1 crap, I gotta switch. Where can I find the specs on GC?

I'm running about 50/50 M1 0w30 and 5w30. No problems... so far.

How come you can add this to your existing synthetic oil, but your supposed to do the rinsing step with dino oil??

These are the people we should be thanking for providing us information. Sure there's lots of different variables with most of these UOAs, but when 4 out of 5 different people have the same problem with the same oil, you can start to draw your own conculsions.
