    This lubricant has been discontinued from Sears and in my owner's manual it doesn't give a specification. The local store's help is shall we say lacking any knowledge and calling into their automated parts direct line is terrible....can anyone please help me?

    With a 180 thermostat it still should be getting warm enough for the oil, do these guys have any cooling fan modifications done? Also what mods have been done to the car? Any chance a ring has started to let go?

    It all depends on what you are doing and how much money you have to put into UOA's for an arguments sake. Some oils do a lot better than others for extended OCI's . but if you are the avid "I change my oil every 3k or 3 months" then Supertech is just fine
