They come from JCI, they look exactly like the ones Costco sells. The paperwork is from JCI, and the drivers have JCI on their shirts.

Which oil would you never use?

I would be hard pressed to use anything from ExxonMobil due to the regressive social and political actions of Exxon. Mobil was a decent and progressive company before Exxon took over and set the clock of equality for all back by about 20 years. Prior to Exxon taking over I was Mobil everything...

    Best Oil for JD tractors???

Anyone who would put an Inferior national seat on a 4020 doesn’t deserve the 4020! Go buy an aftermarket seat cushion and replace the rollers etc in the seat that’s supposed to be on it and I guarantee a better ride than with an old *ss slapper seat. An early 4020 diesel is worth around 10K...

MarkC- Believe what you want, I could care less if you want to put Wesson Oil in your Jeep. I however did my time twice working at Jeep dealerships, first go around in the early 90s the only Jeeps that had engine problems were equipped with GM V6s. Second go around was in 2006-2007, low and...

Your 3.8 is fine, its a good engine, I do wish they would get around to letting the US have diesel Wranglers, thats the only way I'd buy a JK.

I have no issue with the minivan itself, its who drives them, and how they do it that bugs me. Only problem with the hemi transplant is its heavy, same problem the guys have who install 4BT Cummins engines. They work great except in the mud then the back wants to pass the front.

Different manufactures use different terminology for some parts. In the world of John Deere a cam follower is the proper term for the part that rides along the camshaft and imparts an upwards pressure on the pushrod that then pushes on one side of the rocker arm that pivots applying downward...

The 4.0 Jeep engine is currently and has been having camshaft issues for the past few years, there are a number of reported failures talked about on the Rubicon Owners Forum, and on a few other web sites devoted to Jeeps. I primarily work with John Deere, but from time to time have worked at...
