Same Car Same Engine, Different Country Different Oil

I switched the 2007 Fusion to M1 5-30HM at about 280K because of a very slight rear main seal weep. The car now has 333K and still runs and performs great. I went ahead and changed out the 2017 Fusion to 5-30 EP at about the same time. The M1 0-20 performed very well in both Fords.

Unveiling the Superiority of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Oil: A Detailed Analysis by Mr. Lake Speed Jr.

High Mileage Mazda 3, Engine clean, oil for long term

I have the same engine in my 2007 Ford Fusion with 331K. My engine still remains very clean, shows no sign of engine wear, uses only 6-8 oz of oil in my usual 10K Oci. Only oil I ever used is M1. I use NGK plugs and change them ever 100K. Also I put 10 OZ of MMO in the fuel every 3-4 fill ups...

Those with 150,000 miles or more, check in

As for coolant I empty the coolant tank every 10K OCI and use ST coolant to top off the 2003. As for the 2017 I do the same but use Prestone coolant for Fords. I also turkey baster the master cyl reservoir every 10K OCI. This has always worked well for me.
