You ever replace the PCV system on this car? They tend to drink oil if its all plugged up. My 97 volvo is at 198k and I use the same oils as the OP.

Wasnt there a VOA or UOA on this oil recently? If I recall, it didnt look so great.

Im a big fan of using rotella dino or T5. No sense in buying the T6 when I do 3-4k OCI. Ive also had good luck with M1 10w-40 high mileage.

M1 0w-40 is SM so you should be fine.

AAP is totally wrong. If you click on Specs, they also list it as High Mileage Oil. Boo

Im a big fan of using plain ole Rotella 15w-40 in the LR V8. In the winter I drop it down to 10w-40 T5. Ive also had good luck using M1 HM 10w-40 too.

Our 08 CRV is averaging about 9-11k miles before hitting 15%. I use synthetic 5w-20 in the summer and 0w-20 in the winter.

I use HDEO in all my older vehicles and lawn mowers. But with our newer Honda, thats calls for 5w-20, I dont feel comfortable using HDEO.
