    insurance company claim problem

Yes, they just decided for sure on the trading part yesterday and we understand that the dealership won't care if the wheel is new or used, which is why we don't care if the wheel is new, used, or repaired at this point. Cost them dearly?!? Not every insurance company is like that. They have had...

    insurance company claim problem

The other 3 wheels on the car are mint, they get cleaned and polished on a regular basis, no road salt, etc.... There would be a slim chance of a salvage yard having one in as good of condition. Also, if my engine was damaged from a goofup like that I would expect a new engine, not a used one...

I saw that it was 746.02 on that website, still way too high for that wheel. The link was to show the MSRP of the wheel which some people were questioning. The repair shop they got the estimate from uses Ford parts from the Ford dealership without a discount.

    insurance company claim problem

My parents own a mint 2003 Lincoln LS with every available option including factory chrome wheels. The car is taken care of very well. One of the wheels and one tire was damaged by a big pothole they hit. The insurance company they have wants to replace the wheel with a "recycled" one. The...

Post what you used in your first car.

Cool Johnny, that was my Mom's first car in 1965, a red 59. My dad had a white MG midget around the same time and he used Castrol in it as well, not sure on the Sprite.
