Gas or Diesel? Big difference

It appears that Canadian Tire has stopped selling Royal Purple Max-Tane Diesel Fuel Injection Cleaner. It can not be shipped from the US, so I have to buy it here. Does anyone know where I can buy it in Southern Ontario, in the London area. Thanks

Could it be a vent issue on the tanks. If air can not get in, fuel can not get out.

I thought the max Sulfated Ash level of 229.51 was .8. Pennzoil Platinum Euro L 5w30 is approved, so how could this be?

I do not see 229.51 for Mercedes. What happened?

2 oils, both meeting Mercedes 229.51. Pennzoil Platinum Euro Synthetic Motor Oil 5w30 - 10 litres $64. Mobile 1 ESP 5w30, 10 litres, $172. Is Mobile 1 3 times better than Pennzoil. I think not.

I finally answered your email.

My choices for oil are Mobile 1 ESP 5w30, Mobile 1 ESP formula 5w30 ( for a little while), Mobile 1 ESP 0w40, and Valvoline MST 0w40. I am thinking about using the Valvoline in the summer and the Mobile 1 5w30 in the winter. I do not know a lot about oil, so I was hoping some of the experts...

160,000 km and I have the startup rattle. It only happens when the car has been sitting for over a day. I went from 5w30 oil to 5w40 and it helped. My question is - has anyone tried STP to help this. My thinking is that the rattle is caused by the oil draining off and the STP would help that...

If they where the same price, which one would you choose for a 2010 Mercedes 350 Bluetec diesel?

I think if it was any good, they would publish it like everyone else.
