I just got a new Milton analog gauge today, so I’ll be checking all vehicles tonight. Also, I’m on my way to Americas Tire to change the front (or all) tires. I can compare my new tire gauge with theirs.

About 2.5 years ago, when I heard that tapping noise, I knew there’s a screw or a nail on one of the tires. I put the right psi using my 12v inflator, then Americas Tire patched it for free.

My 03 Element's reservoir cap popped out (unscrewed), and found the radiator not full. Can I top it off with this Zerex blue from Walmart? I tried to fill the radiator using my Honda blue coolant, but It wasn't enough. TIA.

Interesting thread. I myself is planning to get my wife a Kona or the cheaper Kia Soul, not sure if these will be good enough for a family of 4. Our ten year old Sonata has been very reliable at 140K.

I did a 3X ATF drain and refill on the Sonata using Castrol Transmax Import. The old ATF was dark brown. Car is still shifting great.

I just keep on reusing them and no torque wrench needed.

Don't skip. Change it and start from there. Just to give you an idea, I change our 2 cars' oil and filter once a year with around 7k miles each.

Maybe around 15 minutes or until it drips very slowly.

07 Mazda5 138k miles. I did 1x drain and refill with 2 quarts of my old Pennzoil multi vehicle atf mixed with a quart of maxlife.

About 4 years ago, my co-worker had the same problem with her Mazda MPV. I did the tune-up including the atf and pcv, but the main culprit was the rear-middle spark plug. The previous mechanic only changed the front (3) plugs as they are NGKs while the rear plugs are old Densos.
