Why does shift feel deteriorate on shared sump/trans engines

What Blu said above is the bottom line, If the clutch and chain are adjusted correctly and shifting improves with ONLY an oil change it HAS TO BE the new oil that makes shifting smooth again. Pretty simple if you think about it.

Why does shift feel deteriorate on shared sump/trans engines

Yep, Same thing with most oils I've tried. 1500-2000 miles seems to be when shifting gets notchy. These past 2 changes I ran Belray EXS ester 15/50 and the shifting is smooth as a gravy samich...LOL... almost as good as new oil at 3200 miles, clutch action is very smooth.. Also ran about 2...

    Friction modified mc oils

Yes about the chain......I've also felt a difference going from one of the "sticks like glue" chain lubes that hold dirt to a different type. Been using Alisyn chain lube for the last 50,000 miles and the chains last long and always look and feel "loose". It flings off abit at first but dirt...

Inside an Aussie V-8 Supercars Engine

Nice video, Look at the size (volume) of that airbox, I wonder if they use some type of crankcase evacuator? Interesting info on the plugs....In superbike land they have some hi dollar IIRC (about $40 buck each) ngk plugs.

    Never Prefill oil filters!

I prefill sometimes but the Op has a point. Had a fram ultra that I got some oil in the inlet holes only to see fine metal flakes come from under the baseplate. I posted about it on here and nobody seemed to have much to say. May want to keep an eye out for manufacturing leftovers.

    Got pulled over today😁

In Ohio you do not need proof of insurance on you.... You DO need to have had It at the time of the ticket....I think you have 30 days to prove it was valid. If you left the new card at home or can't find it at the time how can they write someone up for that? Happy holidays to all.
