Did you always run the syntec on the same honda Honda sport motorcycles are the only sport bikes ive heard of rejecting non mc oil, rotella to be exact.... were these newer bottles of syntec?

Hmmm why would you not want to change your oil after a track day, have you seen uoas of oils after one track day? not too good i would find something cheap you can stock up alot on and just dump it out after every track day or 1000 miles

being familiar with these cars and these filters,I'm going to say the failure was due to overtightening of the reusable filter canister it self. They are plastic and if the tech was new he might have tried to tighten it like a conventional filter. Even hand tightening can break the canister on...

I recently switched too m1 0w40 to castrol to GC 0w30, and unlike the times where i felt better mpg filling with fresh mobil, I don't see a big difference after switching to GC. Does seem to run smoother on my fsi though

GC 0w30 is vw 503 and if i recall 503 is a much superior vw oil spec then 502 and 505, not many companies made a oil that could meet to its standards so it seems they went with 502/505 this list has nothing for vw 503 so its not on the lists, its is on other tech bulletins and oil lists that...

I seen them at walmart in moreno valley CA, Riverside CA, and In a walmart in Orange County in CA as well. in indo quarts and 5 quart jugs I'm wondering how this stacks up compared to the m1 4t 10w40 as a triumph owner my self.

AZ has 5 quart jugs of there brand oil, peak oil, and chevron dino. but that's it walmart has them as well but not in our weights
