Not really a fan of Pennzoil, But let’s see on my next oil run how Motul 8100 X-Lite 0W/30 @ $13.80/quart stands up. I pay $10.50/quart for Amsoil SSO 0W/30, $12.99 for Mobil 1 EP M-103 oil filter.

For the K&N filter it is going to be changed at 65k midway through the 10k oil run. And I will post results at 70k

Not sure, will check to see if the M-102 filter will fit.

This oil run was 10 months 22 days mixed city/highway driving. Note the Toyota/Scion recommended oil change is 5k.

Swapping the AF out at 65k when rotating the tires or at 70k when I change the oil again.

I feel the 0W/20 provides enough protection.

My driving is 75% highway 25% city. I will look into getting the Asmoil EaA air filter soon. I have been using M1 filters for the past several years w/ good results. This oil run was 13 months, and the 1st time running 0W/20. I have been thinking about adding a by-pass filter but still un-decided.

Does anyone have any thoughts on XOM Synthetic ATF which is now lists for Toyota T-III,T-IV/JWS 3309? Motul has a new Multi ATF but waiting on a response if it’s compatible with T-IV/JWS 3309.

Simple gifts. Yes per Toyota, I can use 0W/20 or 5W/20 in the 06 model year. I am currently using Asmoil 0W/20 ASM for this 10,000 MI run. I prefer Motul but my local dealer was closed the day, I changed my oil.

Steve S. There is no difference between K&N air filter & the TRD High-Performance Air Filter for my vehicle. The medium used in the filters are the same.
