    Well I wouldn’t be so quick to condemn the equipment as many variables can be a play and many of these models on the road. A few oil fill pics HERE, some Honda 3.5. The OP may be on the right track with the move to the Mobil product, the vendor in which Honda uses.

    I would say those pics look vary similar to my 1.6L VTEC at three month oil change interval(s) with a major conventional motor oil brand; varnish, deposits, etc.
