Theres a growing amount of people who use rapeseed oil from the grocery store as chain bar oil here in sweden. It sounds good and i have even seen an harvester using it, he diluted it with about 10% ordinary chain bar oil and says the the swords and chains last longer and that the cost of oil...

    the battle- thin vs thick

This is cut and paste from an interviev over at allpar: http://www.allpar.com/history/interviews/marc-rozman/5-roller-cams.html We’d run the engines on power steering oil to do our durability, instead of motor oil. We’d run an engine for 24 hours or less on power steering oil, and it would be...

    Mopar TSB, found when surfing.

This is from an old Mopar TSB. What does this TSB mean? If you use one of the filters in this list, you will not have to worry about warranty coverage of an oil related engine failure. If you choose to use another filter that is not on the list, DC will (justifiably) make you pay for repairs...

    Thin and thick.....

Ok so we have dr Haas who convince us to use a thin oil wich increases the oil flow att higher engine speeds but lowers the pressure at lower speeds- sound ok to me but.. What if my engine pops the valve at 1700 rpms and almost all the time runs at that speed mostly towing, is then the reasoning...
