2022 Subaru WRX HPL PCMO 5w-30 5000 miles

Would any pulsing on the overrun to create a "burble" lead to drastically higher fuel dilution? I know I have two sets of final run files that my tuner provided me with, one burble tune and one normal. I believe I have the burble tune loaded now. FYI it is not as aggressive as say a stock...

2022 Subaru WRX HPL PCMO 5w-30 5000 miles

I have them saved on my laptop at home, I should have a final run WOT saved from my e-tuning. If I can find one I will send it over.

2022 Subaru WRX HPL PCMO 5w-30 5000 miles

Thanks, My tuner was Dmann Tuning, AKA Drunkmann Tuning out of Florida. Went with him through Felix performance out of MD, between Dmann and Clark Tuning those are the two most noted on any of the 22+ Wrx forums. I did purchase the HPL Euro 5w-30 during their xmas sale to use after the PCMO...

2022 Subaru WRX HPL PCMO 5w-30 5000 miles

Hello, Attached is a UOA from Oil Analyzers for my 2022 WRX. I dropped the factory fill right at 1000 miles around May of 2023 and ran HPL PCMO as per recommendation from HPL themselves. It rolled over 5000 miles just before Thanksgiving and right around when I usually start driving my...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

Ride quality is almost the same as the DWS 06, I’d say on a highway over expansion joints the DWS would be a bit softer, but it’s not a metric I would use to recommend one over another. And yes, running 245/40/18, also have older VA 17” rims with Nokian Nordamn Solstice (WRG3) for light duty...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

Much quieter, and unless your on a track, I couldn’t tell a difference in grip just based on a daily commute or spirited drive. Definitely recommend and recommend over the DWS plus.

    Honda/Multi-Vehicle ATF Comparison Chart

I was just going to ask this question in a specific thread, but I figured id put it out here first. 2013 Ridgeline, been running DW-1 most of its life with one Maxlife fill a few years ago. Last November the Transmission Pressure Switch went out and I basically had a 4 speed auto that shifted...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

So, the tire of choice ended up being the Michelin. I was going to wait until at least Memorial Day to see what deals there were, and run the Dunlop summers till fall. But browsing ebay last night I found more than a few vendors, including Discount Tire, that are using an Ebay tire coupon code...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

Definitely not against using the DWS 06 +, I loved everything about them except they seemed to lose that light snow traction fast. They are comfortable, quiet, handle well in wet and dry conditions. They are my go to unless someone had experience with the other tires I listed and could say for...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

I do plan to run the stock summers until October or so. Then I thought about getting an AS once the morning temps start to drop. I would love a set of CC2, have them on my wife’s Regal TourX but the price for them in my size (298$) makes me ill…

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

I see that now, I was under the impression their compound was improved, hence the better winter grip. I will probably just look for a tire with either emerging sipes like the Bridgestone or figure out if there is a UHP A/S tire that has a higher silica compound, or whatever the manufacturer uses...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

Yeah I agree, I do not look at any of the reviews, but I do look at Tireracks own personal test metrics and this is what they are reporting regarding all 4 brands. And again for the record, I will not be getting another set of rims and winter tires because as I stated in my OP I drive my...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

By the looks of what Tirerack reports, both the Vredestein and Michelin are tops for snow handling, with the DWS 06+ tops for dry handling. I guess what I am looking for is a UHP All Season that can handle light snow duty, but unlike the DWS 06+, has whatever magical compound they use for snow...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

Thats a good Idea too, I may check them out when the time comes. The good thing is I don't have to decide right now, I will have all summer to mull over what I want to do for the coming fall after ive driven on the stock Dunlop summers for a few months.

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

I just would like a tire that can handle the occasional light snow and get me home safely. All the class leading UHP all season tires are miles better with light snow traction than what they were 10 years ago. I would just like to have the one that has the best traction. And I would not be...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

Yes, Tire size is 245/40-18. One of the reasons I did not list the Quatrac is I feel its more of a Grand Touring tire, not really meeting the sporty needs of the WRX, and for some reason its UTQG is only 400?! The Pirelli is a bit more than what I want to spend on a tire (265$) and both I feel...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

I do plan on running the OEM Dunlops all summer long, might as well wear them away and have a "fresh" set of UHP All Seasons for the light snow traction come October. I am not against buying another set of DWS 06 plus, but my findings at least in my Civic Si was once that S starts to wear some...

    Tire Selection for 22 WRX

Ok So, Taking delivery of my first "New" car ever. Unfortunately for some unknown reason Subaru went with the Dunlop whatever summer tires. Id like to switch them over to an UHP all season, I would probably wait until October to mount them after buying them either on Memorial or Labor day sale...
