I tried to find a set of 245/50r20s for my wife's Venza but no luck without a long wait. Ended up with Yokohama Geolander G055.

If you want a street tire it would be almost impossible to be the LTX if you don't consider cost. If you want an all terrain though the Yokohamas would be fine.

02 SuperCrew 5.4L 3.73s LT265/70R17E Firestone Transforce ATs and I get 13mpg in town. I had X Radial LT Michelins prior and on long trips I could get 18mpg but that was when the speed limit was 60-65.

Silly that they still have drum brakes on the rear. We have 33K# Freightliners at work with rear discs.

I had a 93 F250 with a 351 in it. I got it at 110,000 miles and sold it a 220,000 miles. I normally ran 10w30 Motorcraft Oil with FL1A filter. I never used any high mileage oil of any kind.

I just put a set of takeoff Firestone Transforce AT LT265/70R17E on my F150 Lariat 4x2 SuperCrew. They put 35 psi in them at the Firestone place. They do ride rougher than my old Michelin X Radial LT P265/70R17 that I just took off which I kept at 32psi. I would have probably put Ps back on...

I wouldn't sweat it. I would probably go back with 5w30. Having said that when I had a 300 I ran a little bit of everything. 5w30, 10w30 and 15w40...

I have the X-Radial LT (Sam's equivalent to the old non 2 M/S)that are 6 years old now but only 40K miles. Never had any problems with them. If money is no object they are in my opinion the best tires you can get. Not sure if I can spring for them next time though since I only drive about 4K...

Mine has 119,000 on the odometer now. I have always used 5w20 Conventional in it. These new Microguards are MGL2 that I got with the specials on the oil are the Fram made ones. Should I chunk them in the garbage or maybe try to talk them into letting me exchange them for something else.

I also have about 7 Microguard Filters from O'reily from when I got the special on the oil. I haven't used any of those though.
