Well I had it at the dealer for a recall item . While there I had them change oil. In my opinion, the silicon was 2 points away from abnormal and the viscosity was in the 5w-37 range already. I just felt it was best to get the breakin oil out with any "floater" from the casting process...

Your transfer case is "transferring" whether you are in 4wd or 2wd. Also you need to make sure thatthe Severe Gear is the correct product for your transfer case. The application guide also lists the 75-90 MTG, different product.

I have a 2002 GMC Duramax. I bought the EaA121 (heavy Duty) vs EaA123(light duty) both the same price and size.

The TBN limit for CJ-4 is 8-9. I have been running Series 30005w-30 in both my 2002 Duramax with Bypass and the oil in my 2003 Jetta. How can they keep it the same with sulphur levels dropping so much in light of extended drain intervals?
