Sunoco E-0 90 Octane Rec Fuel

Keep it in a metal gas can as full as you can get it. Reasonably sealed (think of a valve) so some pressure and little fumes can escape but nothing can enter. Avoid big time temperature swings (eg dont sit it in tbe middle of the yard. Then I would have no qualms using it anytime. Granted, more...

    2018 Camaro LT1

How about synthetic 5w-30 AC Delco dexos oils until you know better? Following the owner's manual isnt so bad. If it isnt good enough for you- then the service manual can be purchased (maybe the dealer could trade the two free oil changes for some nice literature on your car....eg print a...

Towing Long Distances with Older Tow Rig

I think what will get most folks is downgrades. Automatics, weak and old brakes with factory fluid. Not knowing how to stab brake. Stuff like this. Plus, being smooth and easy while heavy I would bet is good for the frame and chassis!

    Aging wine

Thanks. Lol or big smile. Here at Bob is kind of my go to or Wal-Mart for information on the internet. I can get most things of good quality but must usually go elsewhere for specifics (vehicle platforms, sports information, etc).

    Aging wine

Is what makes wine better with age (as they say) the fact that any particulate settles to the bottle and causes the wine to taste better the older it ages? I wonder because what if someone had a hundred year old bottle and you shook it up. Also, is there an age limit or diminishing return on...

Nice fill in map on the traveller. Great idea to keep track and a cool treat for passerbys in rest areas to see where you have been.

    Trouble with Grease Gun

Great tig1. I remember my first time loading a new cartridge. I opened the pull tab and put it in.....hilarity ensued. Lets say I used half a tube to grease my garage pretty good. Then I learned. Thanks for posting the video. I have heard of so many folks on the web having trouble bleeding...

Why hang your bicycle from the ceiling?

I just detailed my bike after it had been sitting indoors for about 5 months pretty much untouched. I take good care of it but put it away dirty. It is new from last October or so. I noticed the cassette or rear wheel wasnt perfectly smooth. It was gritty, but in honesty, it did have a fair...

How Fast to Run a ZeroTurn Mower

How about a variable transmission ( engine to blade coupler). For some who cut once or twice a week then who needs all the juice a av-twin engine can provide to cut something as 'soft' as grass? But if you are doing a heavy cut and dont want to do it twice ( a no-no. I know) then I understand...

    Silicone containing waxes

I found some waxes that I may be interested in getting one day but I wonder if the silicone they contain to make them glossy has a good or detrimental long term effect on the paint job. I consider a wax to be good if you quit using wax and the vehicle is better off years down the road or did...

    How much is too much?

Its not the requiring of oil, it just seems like you have defective equipment or you did something wrong. Like when someone says it doesnt burn a drop like its not a thing. Then you come along and try to put everything in mint condition and it is using oil. 1 minute and a $7 quart of oil every...

Water Pump Paper Gasket With RTV? Longevity?

The red fiber gasket on my truck must've gotten pinched when changing the water pump, because coolant poured out as fast as I was pouring it in after assembly. The pump assembly was heavy and I should have used something to tack it in place instead of making my hands do the work of three...
