As an FYI this is a brand new product that was under development & testing for just over 1 year. It is 100% stop leak sealer, which works with all types of oil and fluids as you stated. This same formula is going to be sold worldwide.

The 4 cylinder shows 1.5 hours labor. The V-6 shows 2.6 hours labor. This is right out of AllData for book time labor rate.

In part this is used as a replacement for ZDDP to help prevent piston scuffing. I believe it actually started in the racing area to reduce friction, increasing power. As stated many pistons now are moly coated on the thrust skirts.

Was this Bar's product purchased in the USA or what country? I work for the company that produces the product in the US, but we have different franchises around the world for this product. Would like to get some more info on this as we have not seen any issue and the materials in the Bar's Leaks...

It sounds like you still have air in the rack, and that can be hard to get out. I know they have a vacuum unit you can put on the power steering pump reservoir, but that does not even always get it out. If it is not too bad, just driving it may work this out.

I think GO5 is the way to go. It is an upgrade to Dexoool (in my view) and it has a low silicate package which helps protect.

With the new CJ-4 oils you want to start watching it closer once the TBN drops to 50% of original. Many people seem to be running it down to a TBN of 2, but I certainly would look at more test data then just the TBN to run that low.

I would try those tablets as they should take care of the minor leak without any problem.
