    Maintenance Doses of fuel additives

Before storage I add a few ounces of ATF to the tank, making sure it has the opportunity to get into the carb. As the fuel evaporates out of the carb over the winter, the ATF remains in the passageways and on the needles, thus no fouling.

Finally, a simple car that can be easily repaired.

Neat. This is why I loved my VW Bugs, sheer simplicity and so dependable with decent performance.

    Chrysler Town and Country

Two co-workers have/had brand new Grand Caravans, one has already traded his off, the other is in the process of doing the same. Both were disappointed with the repairs required early in the vehicles' life and had low confidence for the future. Another co-worker bought a used Honda Odyssey and...

Glass Crack. How to deal with it ?

Its a rock hit, no pit is necessary and usually the surface has a slight roughness to it as you have described.. The reason it spreads so fast is the stress built into a curved windshield finding a release.

    Any Yamaha Raider owners here?

My neighbor had a Yamaha Stryker. That bike had the nicest sounding stock exhaust I have ever heard. Sweet. Personally, I would skip over the Raider and go for a used Gen2 V-Max. Awesome bike!

    One Month Review - 2014 Accord EX-L

I still love my 1999 Accord, 4cyl with A/T. Not a single problem other than a mirror selector switch that was replaced under warranty, many years ago. The driver side seatbelt reel is just starting to get a bit lazy on the retract. My Accord has the 4 corner double wishbone suspension, handles...

    Would you pay?

Yes, do it. Allow for a few extra miles to cover the roads you want to drive, it won't set you back that much when you look at the whole picture. Sounds like a great idea, wish I could do it.

Automakers Sign Agreement for Fuel Cell Cars

That is all nice, but the point I'm making isn't about the present state, its about future development. If all we do is throw our hands up in the air and declare it can't be done, it will never get done. But, it will get done. That is human nature. That is what moved us from the stone age , to...

For now, perhaps. But technology evolves. Nuclear waste is also a nasty form of "payback".

Solar and wind power and water driven turbines can produce hydrogen. Hydrogen can produce electricity. Its a complete cycle if desired or not. The energy within this circle can be stored in batteries, underground or above ground tanks and used when required. You can even have a hydrogen...
