    I have a 2015 2.0 ecoboost escape and over the last three and a half years I have added about 16 oz of distilled water to keep it topped up . My plan is to now add full strength coolant for the next period of time to keep it in a good ratio. Good plan or? 90k km ( 55k miles )

    Dealer says 5-20 ok when 5-30 spec'd

    Ford 2.0 ecoboost in a 2015 escape. I went for an oil change at the Ford dealer I bought my vehicle at. They put 5-20 in and I called them on it as my manual and oil cap spec 5-30.     Horizontal oil filter

    Does horizontal oil filter lead to dry starts due to oil draining out? I've heard that anti drain back valves aren't that good at keeping oil in the filter. Should I be worried?

    New car oil consumption

    My new 2012 Ford Fiesta has consumed about a third of a litte of oil in its first 6000 km. ( 3600 miles ). Is it normal for a new motor to burn a bit of oil during break in? Btw I love the car!!

    Amsoil 0w-30 in high mileage motor?

    I was thinking of going on a two a year oil change with 0w-30 signature and eao filter. My car has 225k kilometers (140k miles) its an 02 corolla with a five speed. Can I go long changes on this oil and filter in an older car? It only burns about half a liter of oil per oil change interval...

    4x4 with the 4.6 litre engine. 120 000 miles, all things being equal should this be a half decent truck? I been lightly worked but not abused but I dont know the service history. What do you think? Are these durable motors and transmissions?

    What do you think is the best gas in Canada? (I am in Toronto) I have read that Shell, Petrocan, and Sunoco are "Top Tier" gasolines....I use 87 in my corolla and Sunoco 94 in my sport bike...

    Beware Toyota's....

    I have an '02 Corolla w. 5spd. Beware that you might have to keep these cars for a long time. Dont buy it if you change cars like I have done in the past(chevs and chryslers). These cars are reliable,efficient,and boring..... BEWARE!!!!!
