Thanks for the replies. I did find that document on the bp.au site, but I don't know what the sulphated ash number tells me. Is the related to the ZDDP content, or are you raising a different concern? They market this oil as a 'fleet' oil, meaning it is okay for diesel and petrol engines...- b73

Hello, I have been using BP Vanellus Global C6 15W40 for some time in a range of petrol and diesel engines. With news of the ZDDP/Zinc issues and flat tappet camshafts, I have been trying to find out how much of this additive is in this oil. I have contacted BP, but they were of no help. Does...- b73
