With only 11,000 mile I would save my money and not bother with a flush. Your fluid is going to be pretty clean. The bypass will clean out whatever little amount of stuff that may be in your fluid. Save your money and flush it after you have put some more miles on it.

Yep, that's been discussed and it makes sense that a high detergent dino oil (such as those for diesels or big trucks) would have the greatest cleaning effect. People also talk about putting on the largest filter that will fit to catch as much crud as possible.

....Or another way of looking at it is that ARX softens up a lot of the "baked on" deposits. During the rinse phase, the new oil with its fresh detergents removes these softened deposits.
