Gentlemen, my F-150 has the 10 speed A/T jointly developed by GM and Ford. I believe Ford first started using them in 2017, not sure about GM. Ford says to "service" the transmission at 150,000 miles. That seems way to long of an interval to me. What would be a good recommendation? I don't tow...

Sorry, but why would anybody "want" a 2018 Malibu? Much, much better choice's out there.
