    Using a 0W40 where 5W40 is recommended ?

    We've got a 2009 Rabbit with the the 2.5L engine (non turbo)...Would there be any issues warranty or otherwise in reguards to wear protection for the duration of a 10,000 OCI using a 0W40 since the manual recommends a 5W40 ? We were thinking of using M1 0W40....

    Where to purchase VW 502 oil in the U.S. ???

    This is insane...Manual calls for 5W30 or 5W40 VW 502 spec and I've looked all over the place and can find only 1 oil that meets the specs of 5W40 and VW502 and that is castrol syntec 5W40 and it's nearly $8/quart...Does anyone know of a retailer that sells a larger variety of European oils ?

    My wife is looking for a small car and we test drove one the other day...Out of everything we tried, including the well liked Mazda3 we both liked the Rabbit the best...Same nimble handling as the Mazda but the Rabbit was smoother on the bumps, much less road noise, a noticeably stronger engine...

    Can you find out what the group is by an msds ?

    I've heard of some folks say an oil belongs to particular group by looking at the MSDS...I've looked over several msds and couldn't figure it out...Where and what do you need to look for and how do you determine this if it is possible discover by MSDS ?
