I would clean it all up first and try and identify the point of the leak. then if needed start with torquing of the bolts .

At 5000 mile oci i don't see any benefit in running Amsoil or HPL. i would running any name brand syn and call it a day.

Even without damage those tires are nearing the end of their useful life. I would have no problems with running defenders again ! shop around at a lot of good options out there.

I have them on a 2015 GT. when new i think like most any tire they were squirmy feeling. I would use again in a heartbeat , i don't think you would be disappointed in them !

I have seen it twice. one. pin hole leak. hoses were around 15 years old. two. complete failure lucky someone was close by and caught it before much damage was done . hoses over 25 years old.

Like the many other flavour of the day oils we have had here before. Don't dare speak out or feel the wrath LOL....................
