a little off topic. I have a vq35de 350z and use WIX 51365 oil filters. I notice my last oil/filter change the new filter I put on is actually larger/taller maybe 1/2 inch but have the same part number printed on box and on the filter.

I would suspect the fuel pump check valve. I would also check your (TPS)throttle position sensor and make sure its within spec. The TPS maybe giving a flooded engine status causing fuel to be cut off to your injectors.

after approx 1500 mi - from what I can see down the oil fill hole the M1 HM stuff is actually cleaning the varnish off. It used to be dark varnishy color before and now its bright clean alum color

quick update after driving a couple days, tranny is smoother and not as notchy going into gears, before it was like ie. 1st into 2nd would be almost 2 movements 1 to pull out of 1st and down into 2nd then sort of slows the throw until it fully engages into 2nd, now it just goes into 2nd in one...

can anyone comment on why motorcraft dot3 fluid has a higher temperature rating than dot4 fluids? is it better than the dot4 stuff? maybe all the terminology is confusing me. I'm planning to flush out my brake/clutch fluids soon.

I am not sure if they are in series or parallel. the head lights are HID when I manually turn the switch. The highbeams are a H7 full power only when turned on with signal switch (push/pull on arm, stock..you know how) the highbeams are always on at reduced power (DRL)when the ignition is on...
