oil doesn't matter as long as it meets specs. I'd run atleast a 5w30. Back in the day they said only run 5w20 in the 3v gas engines. Well well, now days the oil pump leaking at highway rpms so many dead engines the best ford techs say to run 5w30.

In florida, especially south florida you can find all kinds of low mileage cars for cheap. My absolute favorite the towncar/crown vic/grand marqs. But 30+ mpg would have to be a saturn S series. That or a buick lesabre 3800 can get 30 mpg on the highway. 01-05.
