    Observations

    It strikes me that a lot of oil nationwide could be saved by using a by pass filter and a replenishment package for the additives. Of course it could be that the designers have taken into account the time it takes to break down the base oil and the time the additive package runs out of potency...

    Quaker State filters

    Bought a bunch on sale, I forget where, for about $2.50 each. The box says "Safe-T-Screen" and it appears that the filtering media is both cellulose and synthetic micro filters. Box advises filter change every other oil change. Any idea who actually makes them??
