I am planning to purchase a new 2024/2025 F250 7.3 gas. Ford recommends or requires 5W30 with the specification WSS-M2C961-A1. wonder what I would be missing from that specification if I opted for QS 5W40 Euro. I have high confidence in that oil and am certain it added some years to my F150...

You are right ... however SM is accepted . But strangely ... Jaso is not mentioned .... they are so confused , I have 4 books in front of me and one cant get a clear answer ... they really want to sell their overpriced junk ... so frustrating
